Indian police are investigating an explosion near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi, NDTV television channel reported. Israel’s Foreign Ministry said it was investigating the causes of the explosion and cooperating with Indian authorities. There are currently no reports of casualties.
The incident in New Delhi occurred hours after the alarm was raised in Mumbai, following emails received from the Central Bank of India informing a plan to activate 11 bombs in the country’s financial capital. So far, however, police have not found any explosives.
