Uniformed members of the Metropolitan Police of Barranquilla shot at the humanity of a man who apparently threatened to explode a grenade in a commercial area of the Colombia district, in the municipality of Malambo, on the morning of this Tuesday, December 26.
But witnesses pointed out that what the man was carrying was a firearm in a bag, so the uniformed men, faced with the threat, fired their weapons.
This action caused the man, whose identity has not yet been determined, to fall to the ground with injuries. He was then taken to a local health center by the same uniformed officers.
Neighbors in the area used cellphones to film the moment the man allegedly tries to get something out of a bag and the shots fired by the uniformed officers.
So far, the Barranquilla Metropolitan Police has not provided any official information on the matter.
