The death toll in a Russian attack on the Zaliznychny station in Kherson, where around 140 civilians were located, is at least one dead. Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klymenko wrote this on Telegram. “Kherson: 140 civilians were waiting to evacuate at Zaliznychny station – says Klymenko – when the enemy unleashed shelling on the site”. During the operation, he continues, the police ordered the evacuation of civilians. The victim is a police officer from the Kirovograd region. Several people were injured, some of whom suffered shrapnel injuries and were immediately attended for treatment.
The next year of the war in Ukraine “could be even more difficult” for Kiev, because “the Russians are a strong enemy, there are many of them and they learn very quickly”. Meanwhile, the commander of the group of Ukrainian armed forces “Tavria”, Oleksandr Tarnavsky, the general who leads the operation on the southern front line and led the operations to liberate Kherson in 2022, admits in an interview with the BBC. “The situation in our area is extremely difficult,” explains Tarnavsky referring to his area of operation, the Southeast, which includes Avdiivka, Marinka and Robotyne.
