A man who was on his way to a picó dance in El Bosque is shot dead

From a motorcycle, criminals shot dead Leonardo Habid Rivaldo Pitalúa, 33 years old and believed to be a student at the Universidad del Atlántico, during events that took place on the night of January 1 in the El Bosque neighborhood of the city, southwest of Barranquilla.

The Metropolitan Police said in its records that the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at 76th Street and 7B Avenue, near an accident that occurred in the area.

Precisely, according to the information collected by the authority, the fatal victim was on a motorcycle on his way to that musical event to celebrate the New Year, when he was approached by the criminals and hit in the chest.

The victim was taken to the San Ignacio Clinic, where his death was confirmed.

Police are conducting investigations to clarify this bloody incident, which adds to the list of gunshots committed in the first two days of 2024.
