The plane, with 171 passengers and 6 crew members, was heading towards California; had a problem and returned to Portland airport at 17:26 local time. The Federal Aviation Administration launched an investigation to shed full light on the incident.
Passenger Kyle Rinker took the photo below and said: CNN: “Everything happened very suddenly, there was an explosion, when we reached the height the window and wall flew out.”
