Hamas, video of three hostages: “Take us home.” But their fate is a puzzle

The terrorist group Hamas released a new propaganda video yesterday showing three hostages held in the Gaza Strip. In clips edited together, the footage shows Noa Argamani, Yossi Sharabi and Itay Svirsky identifying themselves and asking the Israeli government to bring them home. There is no information to indicate when the videos were recorded.

Today, however, Hamas’ military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, released another message stating that it will reveal the fate of three prisoners held in Gaza tonight. The message, published on Telegram, was accompanied by a video in which the prisoners spoke to the camera. Hamas had previously said it had lost contact with some hostages as Israeli forces bombed Gaza, stressing that they could have been killed in the attacks. Israeli authorities refused to respond to Hamas’ public message about the prisoners, calling it “psychological warfare.” Fingers crossed for the fate of the three prisoners, especially that of Noa Argamani, who was kidnapped by militiamen at the Supernova rave festival in the Negev desert. The video of the kidnapping of the Israeli student, while she was separated from her boyfriend in tears and screaming for help, was circulated in the first hours of the massacre. A ten-second clip that went around the world, where the girl is seen being placed on the back of a motorcycle and taken to the Gaza Strip.
