Police are trying to determine the motives surrounding the stabbing death of a man, between 60 and 70 years old, that occurred in the early hours of last Sunday along the Las Perdices route in the municipality of Puerto Colombia.
A report from the Barranquilla Metropolitan Police shows that a couple walking near the city’s cemetery was the one who alerted to the discovery of the body at around 12:30 this morning.
In this way, Sijín experts arrived on the scene to perform the procedure to remove the body.
In the officials’ archives, the victim was described as a person with a “slender build, about 1.70 meters tall, with light skin, with a careless appearance (street condition), wearing a red T-shirt and blue jeans , without shoes.”
Regarding the cause of death, the authority indicated that the body had “seven wounds in the chest area” and an “open wound in the neck (cut throat).”
The identity of this person is unknown at this time.
