The situation in the Middle East is heating up even more and we have reached a free-for-all. Iran tonight attacked a Mossad center in Erbil, Iraq, and ISIS forces in Syria. The United States, France and Germany condemn Iran. Iraq has recalled its ambassador to Tehran because it believes its sovereignty has been violated. Baghdad denies that there was a Mossad spy center in Erbil. Turkey destroyed 23 targets in nighttime airstrikes against Kurdish militants in northern Iraq and Syria. In the Red Sea, the Houthis attacked an empty Greek bulk carrier. Shell decided to stop sailing its ships in the Red Sea, opting to circumnavigate Africa.
The United States and Britain responded with airstrikes against Houthi positions in Yemen’s Al Bayda province. “American and British planes – writes the Russian agency Ria Novosti – bombed the Ansar Allah facilities in the military camp of the Muqairas district, on the territory of the At-Taffa fortress and the structures of the As-Savmaa district.” Now, according to the latest news, the US military has carried out a new attack in Yemen against four Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles. Reuters reports this on its website, citing two US officials. According to one of the two sources, the missiles that were hit were ready to attack ships in the region. The US attack came after Houthi forces yesterday hit the American merchant ship Gibraltar Eagle with a ballistic missile.
