US and UK forces have launched a fourth series of strikes against targets in four areas of Yemen in response to attacks on Red Sea shipping by Houthi rebels. “The American-British aggression targeted the governorates of Al-Hudaydah, Taiz, Dhamar, Al-Bayda and Saada,” Al-Masirah TV said, referring to the port of Hodeida, the city of Taez and other areas from Yemen. “We will continue to attack Israeli ships heading to ports in occupied Palestine, regardless of how American-British aggression tries to stop us,” warned a Houthi military official on rebel-owned Al-Masirah TV.
American forces say they struck 14 missiles in Yemen that were ready to be launched and posed a threat to civilian and military ships. American forces, the U.S. military said in a statement, “conducted strikes against 14 Iranian-backed Houthi missiles that were loaded for launch in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. These rail-launched missiles posed an imminent threat to merchant shipping.” The tension remains very high.
