Great Britain, BBC bombshell: “students radicalized” by Pasdaran in universities

Islamic countries must sever their political and economic relations with Israel. This is what the supreme leader of the Islamic revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said today during a meeting with the organizers of the National Congress to commemorate the 24 thousand martyrs of Tehran. Khamenei criticized the positions and actions of some Islamic countries regarding the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip between Tel Aviv and the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas. “Those responsible in Islamic countries must act on issues that are within their power,” stated the supreme leader, referring, according to “IRNA”, to cutting ties with the Jewish State. The Arab-Muslim countries that recognize the Jewish State and maintain diplomatic relations are: Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. However, what catalyzed the BBC’s attention were videos in which some Iranian Revolutionary Guard generals addressed Muslim students in Britain, making anti-Semitic and denialist speeches. These videos were examined by the Charity Commission, an independent organization that has the power to investigate, sanction or close charities and the largest British broadcaster is dedicating an investigation into the case.

According to the BBC, British authorities are examining videos filmed on the premises of an Islamic charity. Precisely in these videos, some of those present utter two reprehensible words: “Death to Israel”. Conservative MP Alicia Kearns, who chairs the Foreign Affairs Committee, referred to the speeches as a “brazen act of radicalisation” and called for Pasdaran to be included on the list of terrorist groups removed from the UK as they pose “a risk for the stability of our country.” “I really care about the state of our society, everyone should be horrified by what they see in these videos. They incite hatred, division, violence, potentially incredibly serious,” she added.

As Adnkronos reports, the three videos, supervised by the British broadcaster, were recorded in 2020 and 2021. Two of them are speeches broadcast live by commanders of the Guardians of the Revolution. The other, however, is linked to an event held in person, inside the Kanoon Towhid Islamic center, in west London, in honor of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, killed in a US airstrike on Baghdad airport, on January 3. 2020 and one of the key figures in Iran’s strategy in the Middle East.
