On the night of this Sunday, February 11, a serious accident occurred in the San Vicente district, in the north of Barranquilla, killing two people traveling on a motorcycle.
The fatalities were identified by authorities as Juan Andrés Maury González, 21, and Dayana Paola Escorcia Gómez, 24.
According to witnesses, Maury González and Escorcia Gómez were driving along Calle 85 and Carrera 47 around 10 p.m. when they had a serious collision with a white Renault car.
As a result of these events, Matteo David Rabbal Olarte, 26, who was driving the private vehicle, was arrested by members of the police.
The Traffic and Transport Police are investigating the causes of the incident to determine the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle.
