Israel, rock in the truce. Netanyahu: “Hamas unacceptable requests”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu once again rejects Hamas’ calls for a possible truce agreement. “Hamas is preventing the release of our hostages. We are working in every possible way to free them,” the Tel Aviv leader said in a video from Jerusalem. “In the course of negotiations, Israel has demonstrated that it is willing to go a long way, described by US Secretary of State Blinken and others as extraordinarily generous. But although Israel has demonstrated this willingness, Hamas has remained steadfast in its extreme positions. At the top, their list of demands is to withdraw all our forces from the Gaza Strip, end the war and leave Hamas intact. We will not accept your demands, which means surrender.
