After several posters, flags and banners referring to the Golf clan in different parts of Barranquilla and municipalities of Atlántico a security council was held between the Mayor’s office, armed forces, police And Public Prosecution Service in which five actions were agreed to counter the criminal activities of this illegal group.
These measures include the The Atlantic Sectional Prosecutor will appoint a specialized prosecutor to investigate the activities of that criminal structure. This judicial officer, as stated Mayor Alejandro Char, “will cooperate with prosecutors specializing in organized crime at the national level.”
Likewise, it was established that the Metropolitan Police of Barranquilla would collaborate with the central level authorities to carry out the operational activities of Operation Agamemnon in this part of the country, “strengthening its investigative and intelligence capabilities with the information available at the national level.”
