The Public Prosecution Service has charged the physical education teacher with abuse

The Law firm charged a teacher who was assigned to a Soledad educational institutionallegedly involved in sexual crimes with a minor under the age of 14, a student at the institution where he worked, since last year.

It should be remembered that in January of the previous year the Atlantic Department of the Public Prosecution Service reported on the arrest warrant issued by a municipal criminal court with warrant control functions against the teacher of Physical education.

In a statement, the law enforcement agency said the evidence was collected by a prosecutor from the Comprehensive Care Center for Victims of Sexual Abuse (Caivas) of the Atlántico department reported that the teacher had subdued the student in October of the previous year in one of the classrooms of the educational institution and, on a second occasion, in a motel in the same municipality.

Now the Public Prosecution Service has revealed other details related to the fact that The minor is said to have informed her teacher of the abuse to which she had been exposed by a close friend, and the physical education teacher “took advantage of this vulnerable situation to have sexual relations with his student on two occasions, the first allegedly at EI, and the second at a motel.”

According to the disciplinary order, the person under investigation, aware of these facts, would have failed to activate the procedure for preventing cases of sexual abuse with minors, as was his duty and as laid down in the law, but would have taken advantage of these circumstances to investigate her with the intention of converting it again into victim of sexual abuse.

On the other hand, the control entity questioned the professor for allegedly committing the crime of pornography with minors, since he allegedly filmed one of the sexual encounters with the minor, in order to leave a record of the sexual access as a souvenir.

“The Atlantic Regional Instruction Attorney “stressed that educational institutions must report such situations in the Unified School Coexistence Information System (SIUCE), following the protocol issued for the pedagogical approach to gender-based violence (GBV) in school environments,” the statement said.
