The tragedy in Algeria where a father burned his four children alive. He poured 5 liters of gasoline on them in a building under construction and then set them on fire. The incident took place in the south of the country, in the province of Ghardaïa, 600 km south of Algeria. According to some local media reports, the man was suffering from depression.
The multiple infant murder occurred last Tuesday, December 10. Two 11-year-old twin children, one 5 years old and the other 4 years old, born to one of his wives, died.
The man said he took the children and took them to a deserted area. Then he poured gasoline on them from a five-litre can. After burning them, he returned to Hraoua in the province of Algiers. The man’s other wife, to whom he told everything, informed the gendarmerie. The guards found him at his home and arrested him.
