Gaza, Israel and Hamas sign truce agreement in Doha

Confirmation of the signing, in Doha, of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza by delegations from Tel Aviv and Hamas finally arrived overnight from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Subsequently, the prime minister called a meeting of the security cabinet for today, to vote on the agreement. However, the government’s plenary meeting is not scheduled for before Saturday night, a spokesman for Netanyahu said, explaining that opponents of the deal must have 24 hours to appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice.

In accordance with what was announced by the Jewish authorities, the families of the 98 hostages were also informed, who were assured that the Prime Minister had instructed the authorities to collaborate in the preparations for the reception of the prisoners who will be released under the agreement. “The State of Israel is committed to achieving all war objectives, including the return of all our hostages, both living and dead,” added Netanyahu’s office.
