More than a thousand people marched in Amsterdam to protest against Rutte

Demonstrations against the Rutte cabinet were held in Amsterdam this afternoon. About 1000 people attended the show. As far as we know, the show ran without major incidents.

Co-initiator of the campaign was Michel Reijinga, who has regularly protested against the Dutch corona policy over the past two years. Reijinga told the NOS camera that this time the focus is on “eleven years of mismanagement by the Rutte cabinet”.

The participants also criticized Europe and focused specifically on European digital identity card projects. “I think there is a lot going on at European level in terms of legislation that will limit our freedoms,” said one participant. He carried a banner that read “Stop Total Control”.
