Dead shoemaker in Vlissingen
A dead man was found in a shop in Vlissingen on Wednesday evening. The victim was the 60-year-old shoemaker who ran the store. A 38-year-old suspect from Oud-Alblas came to the scene during the police investigation, but the police were unable to arrest him yesterday. He was eventually arrested after being shot at his care farm in Albasserdam.
Omroep Zeeland writes that the victim from Vlissingen was sentenced to two years in prison in 2014 for assaulting his son.
The man has been charged in both cases in Vlissingen and Albasserdam and is under full restraint. This means that he can only contact his lawyer.
