Nathalie and her family have filed a police report. He can’t be blamed for not having a blood or urine test to prove he has drugs in his body. This type of testing is not normally done in hospitals for (suspected) drug use unless the patient is in a condition severe enough to find out what is in their body before treatment.
“This is frustrating. I really want to make sure. I also know deep down that I was given drugs, and they diagnosed me in the hospital with my students, but every time I hear it, they say to the police, ‘ Do you have a paper blood test, do you have a urinalysis?
The coffee thing happened in November, but Nathalie is still ashamed of it. He regularly suffers from panic attacks and consults a psychologist. When asked why he wanted to share his story, he replied: “Luckily, it ended well for me. But I hope I can get people out of this so it doesn’t go bad for someone else.”
*Nathalie’s full name is known to the editors.
