The radar shows thunderstorms from Hagerstown to Front Royale. They are constantly headed east and can reach Ludun, Frederick and North Fauk counties around 5pm and possibly between 6pm and 7pm near the Ring Road. We have quite a busy time for the next 24 hours. A strong cold front is slowly making its way into our area and thunderstorms are about to start this evening and especially tomorrow afternoon. For tonight, most of the thunderstorms that will develop will be thunderstorms, heavy rains and some strong winds. But Monday’s storms are much more likely to be stronger and hit a serious threshold.

Tonight included: The skies will remain mostly sunny until the rest of the afternoon, with extremely hot and humid conditions. The rain and storm streak is expected to move into the region after 6pm. Heavy rains will be the biggest threat along with separate thunderstorms. Showers should be completed by midnight. Very cloudy, foggy and humid conditions at night. Low temperatures will be around the mid-1960s with values similar to the dew point.
