Racism? population? 5 questions after the Buffalo massacre that killed 10 people

The manifesto is called the “Great Theory of Change,” a conspiracy theory that has been around for a long time and has gained popularity over the past 10 years. Those who believe this think that minorities have replaced whites in Europe and the United States. Terrorists such as Anders Breivik (Oslo, 2011) and Brenton Harrison Tarrant (Christchurch, 2019) used this theory in their attacks.

There have been similar racist attacks in the United States before: In 2018, a man shot and killed 20 visitors to his synagogue in Pittsburgh, and in 2019 there was an attack on Latinos in El Paso.

1. What does the Buffalo Shooter manifesto say?

Shooter Payton Gendron writes in his manifesto that he was bored in his teenage room during the pandemic and went to watch 8chan. There he discovered all kinds of stories about how whites did not reproduce well enough and how other population groups grew faster. He radicalized and came to believe in the ‘population theory’: that white citizens would be deliberately replaced by colored citizens.

Finally got into action this weekend. Witnesses say they saw a man in military uniform suddenly shoot in the video below:
