Terrorists such as Anders Breivik (Oslo, 2011) and Brenton Harrison Tarrant (Christchurch, 2019) used this theory in their attacks.
There have been similar racist attacks in the United States before: In 2018, a man shot and killed 20 visitors to his synagogue in Pittsburgh, and in 2019 there was an attack on Latinos in El Paso.
