Whether the action makes sense remains to be seen. The Taliban have not yet responded to the protest. Bahraam does not believe the Taliban will reverse the decisions, but says peaceful protest is the only way to make their voices heard.
“If we don’t rise up against the Taliban now, we will regret it later. It will get worse in the future. Now women have to cover their faces, the next step is to stop showing up. All.
