At least 18 people have been killed in a Russian missile attack on the district Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyiin Ukraine’s Odessa region, while Moscow troops besiege the city of Lisichansk.
“Odesa region. As of 0830 local time (0530 GMT), 18 people have died, including two children. 38 have been injured,” he wrote in his post Telegram the deputy head of the presidential office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
On his Facebook page, the Emergency services Ukrainian confirmed the rocket attack, which he attributed to the Russian military, took place at 06:00 local time (03:00 GMT).
“As a result of a missile attack by the Tu-22 (Russian) strategic aircraft from the Black Sea in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odessa region, three X-22 missiles hit a multi-storey apartment building and two recreational centers”, pointed out Tymoshenko for his part.
