What can you expect today?

  • The Russian and Belarusian communities in the Netherlands will protest together against the war in Ukraine. They do this from 2 o’clock in the Peace Palace in The Hague.
  • Supporters of Willem Engel demonstrate on the Museumplein in Amsterdam against the arrest of the leader of Virus Truth. Engel has been arrested for allegedly posting provocative messages on social media for a long time.

The administration of the besieged Ukrainian city said last week that Russian troops forcibly deported thousands of people from Mariupol and sent them to Russia. The Council is thus responding to Russian statements that refugees have come from Mariupol.

“The occupiers illegally removed people from the Livoberezhny district and took refuge in the sports club building, where more than a thousand people were hiding from the constant shelling,” the municipality of Mariupol wrote in Telegram.
