Yellow in the USA, the body of Eliza Fletcher was found. A man standing still, the motive is sought

It is yellow in the United States. Eliza Fletcher, a 34-year-old American heiress kidnapped while jogging, disappeared Friday, September 2, in Memphis. It was around 4:30 in the morning and the woman was running when a man approached her: a fight would have broken out between the two and he managed to immobilize her and put her in an SUV. As announced by the police, her body was found in the kidnapping area. She also found her phone and the bottle of water the wealthy heiress always carried with her.

Cleotha Abston, 38, who was released from prison in November 2020 after more than 20 years serving time for kidnapping a local lawyer, was arrested for the kidnapping. Police allegedly framed him thanks to surveillance camera footage and a DNA test on a pair of the man’s sandals found at the kidnapping site. From the images it is possible to see that the SUV remained in a parking lot for about four minutes before departing. A witness and her brother also reported that Abston was behaving strangely while cleaning the interior of the car and washing his clothes in the sink. Liza Fletcher was the granddaughter of Joseph ‘Joe’ Orgill III, an entrepreneur who led Orgill Inc, one of the world’s largest hardware distributors, to success. But according to rumors, the kidnapping appears to have more of a sexual motive than extortion.
