Apple to Unveil 8 More Devices Before 2026 Ends

Apple is preparing to launch at least eight new devices before the end of 2026, according to a report from MacRumors, following the company's September event where it introduced the iPhone 18 Pro, its first foldable iPhone, the AirPods 5 and a new generation of the Apple Watch.

Given the number of products still expected, Apple will likely hold another launch event in October or November, MacRumors reported, with the focus expected to fall on Mac computers and smart home devices.

New iPad Mini

One of the anticipated releases is an updated iPad mini. The tablet could get an A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, an OLED screen, a new speaker system without the usual openings in the casing, and water resistance, according to the report. If Apple chooses the A20 Pro, it would be the same processor that debuted in the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo.

New Mac Computers

Apple is also preparing several computer updates. A 24-inch iMac with an M6 chip and new colors is expected to replace the current model, which uses an M4 chip and launched in 2024, though no major design changes are expected. Alongside it, Apple could debut an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip.

The most notable new product could be a completely redesigned MacBook Pro with an OLED display, MacRumors reported. It said the laptop is expected to gain a touchscreen layer for the first time and a redesigned cutout in the style of Dynamic Island, the pill-shaped cutout Apple introduced on the iPhone to house its front camera and sensors. Timing remains uncertain, however, with the device potentially launching by late 2026 or being pushed back to early 2027.

Rumors suggest the laptop will be called the MacBook Ultra, and that macOS 27 will be adapted for touch control. The top configuration could potentially use an M5 Ultra chip.

Smart Home Devices

Apple will continue expanding its smart home lineup. The company is preparing a new version of Apple TV that will feature an A17 Pro chip or newer, 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence, the company's artificial intelligence platform, support for Siri's AI features, and an updated Siri Remote. The set-top box's exterior design will stay the same.

An updated HomePod mini is also expected. It is rumored to get a more modern chip with support for the AI version of Siri, improved sound quality, an N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7, and a second generation Ultra Wideband chip. Apple is also said to be preparing new colors, including red.

Home Hub

Another expected product is the Home Hub, an entirely new device for controlling smart home systems. It is rumored to feature a square display measuring between 6 and 7 inches diagonally, an A18 chip or newer, and support for Apple Intelligence and FaceTime. The device is expected to come in two versions: a tabletop model with a built-in speaker and a wall-mounted model.

New Beats Headphones

The last of the eight expected products is the Beats 360, over-ear headphones with a design similar to the AirPods Max. They are rumored to feature adjustable ear cups and headbands, IPX4 water resistance, and a noise-canceling system said to be roughly twice as effective as the one in the Beats Studio Pro.

MacRumors reported that Apple could unveil the Beats 360 before the end of September, likely through a press release.

Separately, Bloomberg reported that Apple will launch three new iPhones in early 2027: a new version of the iPhone Air, a mid-range iPhone 18e, and a base model iPhone 18.
