iPhone Air 2 specs leaked ahead of 2027 launch

Detailed specifications for the iPhone Air 2 have emerged, pointing to a dual-camera system, a new processor, and a titanium body when the device launches in spring 2027.

According to leaker Pu, the iPhone Air 2 will keep the current model’s 6.55-inch display but will feature a smaller Dynamic Island, giving users slightly more screen space. The rear camera setup will pair the existing 48MP primary lens with a new 48MP ultra-wide lens.

Under the hood, the device is expected to run Apple’s A20 Pro chip, built on TSMC’s 2-nanometre process and featuring Wafer-Level Multi-Chip Module packaging. Apple’s in-house C2 modem will handle 5G connectivity, while an N2 chip will manage wireless functions. RAM is reported to remain at 12GB.

Apple plans to release the iPhone Air 2 alongside the standard iPhone 18 and the lower-specced iPhone 18e in spring 2027. The higher-end iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone Ultra are expected to arrive in September.
