Greek singer Kaiti Garbi lost her balance and fell on stage during a large concert by fellow singer Antonis Remos in Thessaloniki, shortly after the two had performed a duet together that they had sung before.
Garbi was leaving the stage when she slipped. The surface had become slippery because of rain that had fallen before the show, and she lost her footing and fell.
Remos and television presenter Grigoris Arnaoutoglou rushed over to help her back up. Garbi then left the stage without any further problem. Footage of the moment was shared online.
Garbi reassures fans on Instagram
A few minutes after the fall, Garbi posted a video on the Stories section of her personal Instagram account to reassure anyone who had been worried by what happened.
She said she was recording the video because five minutes earlier she had taken what she called an epic slip on the stage, but wanted people to see that she was fine. She said she was not in pain anywhere and had not broken anything. She described the moment as very funny, adding that the slip itself had been a little ridiculous but that everything was fine. She said the night was magical and that everything was perfect there in Thessaloniki.
