PAOK FC issues fan instructions for Anderlecht fixture

Greek football club PAOK FC has issued official instructions to supporters ahead of Thursday evening's match against Belgian side Anderlecht at Toumba Stadium.

The fixture, scheduled for August 6 at 20:45, is the first leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round. PAOK FC management said the team aims to take a decisive step toward the competition play-offs while ensuring crowd safety to avoid any stadium ban or disciplinary punishment.

Club officials stated that Toumba Stadium is ready for a major European night and urged fans to create an intense atmosphere with their voice and passion. The club called for unity and devotion, emphasizing that supporters must protect their home venue. PAOK FC urged fans to welcome Anderlecht and visiting supporters from Belgium with respect, ignore potential provocations, and refrain from any actions that could harm the team.

Stadium security and prohibited items

Greek Police will carry out security checks around the perimeter of Toumba Stadium prior to kick-off. PAOK FC reminded supporters that the use of fireworks, firecrackers, smoke bombs, flares, and laser devices is strictly prohibited inside the stadium.

Throwing objects onto the pitch is also forbidden, alongside banners containing racist, insulting, political, or sexual content. Stadium gates will open to the public at 18:45.

Ticket identification and digital wallet rules

Supporters must complete their ticket identification early through the Gov.gr Wallet application, ideally immediately after purchasing tickets, to avoid delays at stadium turnstiles. A ticket problem-resolution desk will operate at the stadium from 15:00 to assist fans facing entry issues.

Season ticket holders are permitted to transfer their passes through the Gov.gr Wallet app up to six hours before kick-off. PAOK FC clarified that the club is not involved in adding digital tickets to the app or processing season ticket transfers. Technical assistance is available exclusively through Gov.gr Citizen Support at support.gov.gr and wallet.gov.gr/support.
