Pete Davidson, Elsie Hewitt Reach Custody Deal for Daughter

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have reached a joint agreement on coparenting their daughter Scottie, a source confirmed to People on Friday, July 31.

In a joint statement, the former couple said they are raising their daughter together with her wellbeing as their top priority, and that they are fully committed to working together to give her the love of both parents.

Following their split, a source had told People that Hewitt felt she was carrying the full emotional weight of motherhood largely on her own while also trying to work and build stability for herself and her daughter. The source described the challenges of solo parenting as emotionally and physically draining, and said Hewitt had spoken about the transition being far harder than she had anticipated. The source noted Hewitt had addressed the experience on TikTok.

A source close to Davidson said he had made himself as available as possible and had provided full financial support, covering all of Scottie’s expenses and more. That source added that Davidson hopes Hewitt has good health and success for the sake of their daughter.
