More than 60 budget-friendly coastal destinations on the Greek mainland have been identified where a family of four can spend five nights at competitive accommodation costs, according to data from short-term rental platforms.
The listings cover the period of August 17 to 22, 2026, and reflect the lowest available prices recorded at the time of the research. All prices are for properties suitable for a family of four.
The findings come as rising holiday costs, both for accommodation and transport, are pushing growing numbers of Greek families away from the islands and toward mainland seaside destinations that offer road access and lower prices.
