Abbey Clancy got 'trollied' and admitted that she was 'absolutely p****d' during a wine tasting with her husband Peter this week

The 40-year-old model and television personality, and the 45-year-old former England, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur striker, were filming a special episode of their popular podcast, The Therapy Crouch. The audio and video series, which the married couple launched to discuss their relationship and share humorous stories, featured Clancy's friend Liberty guiding the pair through a wine tasting. The session quickly derailed as Clancy refused to spit out any of the drinks.

The model, 40, and the ex footballer, 45, were filming a special episode of their The Therapy Crouch podcast where Abbey's friend Liberty put the pair through their paces with the tasting

As the episode progressed, Clancy grew increasingly drunk. When Liberty attempted to introduce another wine to the tasting, Clancy interjected to announce her state of inebriation.

"I'm absolutely p****d!" Clancy said, prompting Crouch to joke: "This wine tasting has taken a turn!"

Wine tasting descends into giggles

"Well we're not meant to drink them... you're meant to spit them out!" Liberty explained. Clancy then recalled a recent trip to Italy where the couple also got drunk during a tasting.

Abbey progressively got drunker as the session went on after refusing to spit out any of the wines after tasting them - before losing it over a crude joke

Liberty attempted to teach the pair about wine bottles, explaining that a larger curved indent at the base often indicates a higher quality vintage.

"The deeper the dip in the wine the more expensive," Liberty said, asking Clancy to feel the indent on a bottle.

Clancy replied with a crude joke: "Well the deeper the dip... so are you meant to thumb it in...?"

The comment left the couple in fits of giggles, and Liberty struggled to regain their attention to continue the session. Fans of the podcast praised the segment in the comments, calling the episode "Brilliant, brilliant, just brilliant!" and writing, "GUYS!!!!! MORE of this PLEASE!"

"Liberty... what a legend!" one viewer wrote. Another added: "Just love these two."

Clancy upset over Gladiators crush

The humorous episode follows a tense revelation on the podcast last week, when Clancy admitted she felt "physically ill and so upset" after looking through Crouch's phone.

It comes after last week Abbey said she felt 'physically ill and so upset' after going through Peter's phone and discovering his secret celebrity crush

Clancy told listeners she gave her husband the silent treatment for two days after discovering his secret celebrity crush.

"I went through your phone," Clancy admitted on the podcast. Crouch replied, "Which you shouldn't do."

"Everyone does that, every girl does that," Clancy said, attempting to justify her actions. "But I find out things from you by doing that."

She revealed that Crouch had a crush on Jet from the 1990s television show Gladiators. Jet, whose real name is Diane Youdale, was a main cast member on the original UK series of the physical competition show from 1992 until 1996.

"I found out you had this crush on Jet from the Gladiators, which I didn't speak to him for two days after and he was like 'Abbey, she's like 60' and I was like 'I don't care, it made me physically ill', I was so upset," Clancy said.

Secret golf trip uncovered

Crouch defended himself, pointing out his age at the time. "But I'm allowed to fancy someone from 25 years ago..." he said.

"I know, but still knowing my husband fancies someone else," Clancy replied.

"That was well before you as well, I was around 14 when I was watching Jet," Crouch explained.

The phone search also revealed Crouch's plans for a getaway, which he had not yet mentioned to his wife.

"So! And at the same time I find out you're planning this golf trip," Clancy snapped.

Crouch explained his strategy was to "have all his ducks in a row" before raising the subject.

"But you don't tell me before the day before Pete," Clancy hit back.

Crouch replied: "Would I want a month of hell or a day of hell?"
