AEK Athens have officially completed the signing of Honduran midfielder Kervin Arriaga from Spanish club Levante.
The 28-year-old defensive midfielder passed his medical examinations before signing a four-year contract until 2030 with the Greek champions.
AEK paid a transfer fee of 3 million euros to Levante for Arriaga, who will wear the number 16 shirt for the club. He completed the move after taking his first tour of Allwyn Arena.

The club welcomed Arriaga to Athens, wishing him good health and success with the team.
Career path and international experience
Born Kervin Fabian Arriaga Villanueva on January 5, 1998, in the city of Puerto Cortes, he began his professional football career with Honduran side Platense, playing there from 2017 to 2019. He then joined Marathon, representing the club between 2019 and 2022.
Arriaga spent two years in Major League Soccer with Minnesota United from 2022 to 2024. At the start of the 2024-25 season, he moved to European football for the first time to play for Serbian club Partizan Belgrade, before joining Spanish side Real Zaragoza on loan midway through the season.
In the summer of 2025, Arriaga moved to Spanish top-flight club Levante in La Liga. He made 27 total appearances for the Spanish club, scoring three goals and providing three assists while operating as a defensive midfielder and central defender.
An active member of the Honduras national team since 2020, Arriaga has earned 45 caps and scored four goals for his country.
