Greek artistic swimmer Vasiliki Alexandri has qualified for the Free Solo final at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris, finishing eighth in the preliminary round with a score of 246.5013 points.
Twelve of the 14 athletes who competed in qualifying advanced to the final, scheduled for Monday, August 3 at 10:00. Vasiliki is described as the third of the Alexandri triplet sisters, who returned to Greece after 14 years abroad and now compete under the Greek flag.
The top qualifier was Vasilina Khandoska of Belarus, competing under the European Aquatics flag, who scored 287.3999 points.
Also competing on Saturday are Vasiliki’s sisters Anna Maria Alexandri and Eirini Marina Alexandri, who will contest the Free Duet final. The pair won gold in the Technical Duet on Friday.
