América Multimedia has signed a broadcast agreement with the Federación Peruana de Fútbol to air Peru's 2030 World Cup qualifying matches.

The deal expands football coverage across the network's platforms to include men's, women's, and youth national team fixtures alongside domestic Peruvian competitions.

Coverage of National Teams and Domestic Leagues

Under the agreement, the broadcaster will transmit Peru's upcoming senior men's friendly matches scheduled for late September and early October. The contract also grants broadcast rights for the domestic Copa de la Liga and the Liga Femenina, broadening televised access to Peruvian football.

Fernando Muñiz, the chief executive officer of América Multimedia, said the company would accompany the Peruvian national team throughout their qualification campaign for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. He noted that the network aims to bring Peruvians their favorite sport and called on fans across the nation to unite in supporting the national squad during the upcoming qualifying cycle.

Muñiz added that the agreement represents a major commitment for the broadcaster, emphasizing that it covers youth categories, the women's national team, and domestic competitions alongside the senior men's team.

Broadcaster Commitment to Football Development

Agustín Lozano, the president of the Federación Peruana de Fútbol, said the alliance was designed as a comprehensive project to foster the overall development of Peruvian football. He emphasized that the partnership extends beyond the senior men's team to ensure full support for women's and youth national squads.

Lozano noted that América Multimedia demonstrated strong interest and willingness to support all levels of national team football. He added that the broadcaster has shown a clear commitment to sports development and to infrastructure projects linked with federation activities.

The federation president explained that financial considerations were not the sole factor in finalizing the deal. Lozano said the agreement was built on mutual trust, passion, and belief in the long-term vision for football in Peru.

The Federación Peruana de Fútbol is the governing body responsible for organizing national football teams and sanctioned tournaments in Peru. América Multimedia is a major Peruvian media company operating nationwide television networks and digital distribution platforms.
