Mexican athlete Ana María Torres won the gold medal in the women's individual triathlon at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo on Saturday.

Torres completed the course, which featured swimming, cycling, and running legs, in a time of 1:59.00.
Competition results
María Velásquez of Venezuela took the silver medal with a time of 1:49.39, while Rosa María Tapia of Mexico secured the bronze medal with a mark of 2:00.08.
A total of 26 triathletes competed in the race, which was held at Puerto Sans Soucí in Santo Domingo.
