Puerto Rican musician Arcángel surprised Spanish singer Rosalía during her concert in Orlando, Florida, by revealing he ended a romantic relationship with a fan because of her lavish spending habits.
Speaking inside a mock church confession box installed on stage during the Orlando leg of Rosalía's Latin American tour, the performer explained that he fell in love with a follower named Estela after meeting her in France. Arcángel subsequently invited her to travel alongside him for part of his concert tour.
According to reporting by El Nuevo Día, the couple initially planned to spend a single week together, but the relationship eventually extended to approximately two months. However, the singer withheld specific details regarding when the romance originally took place.
Explaining the demise of the relationship, Arcángel joked to the audience that his former partner proved to be excessively expensive. He told Rosalía that Estela routinely purchased luxury brand handbags on a daily basis while traveling together.
When the pair decided to part ways, the artist told her that he needed to continue his work schedule and expressed hope that they would see each other again soon. He added with a laugh that he ultimately sent her back to France with a first-class airline ticket.
