Lawyer Benji Espinoza has resigned as legal representative for Óscar Custodio, owner of orchestra La Bella Luz, following leaked recordings involving singer Naldy Saldaña. Saldaña previously filed a complaint against former musical director César Sánchez for alleged touching and harassment.

Espinoza announced his departure through a statement published on social media without disclosing specific details. He stated that he decided to withdraw from defending Custodio, expressed appreciation for the confidence in his professional work, and noted that the motives remain strictly between client and attorney due to professional secrecy.
Following the announcement, a social media user commented that many expected Espinoza not to compromise his reputation for an indefensible situation and suggested he understood what a family would experience. Espinoza liked the comment, which observers interpreted as a gesture of support.

Leaked Audio Details
The attorney's resignation occurred after the television program Magaly TV La Firme broadcast an audio recording of a discussion between Custodio and Saldaña. In the conversation, Saldaña asked Custodio how the company would have responded to her complaint had she lacked video evidence, inquiring whether he would have fired Sánchez.
Custodio responded by asking whether she wanted him to fire the director and stated that he did not understand her goal. Saldaña emphasized that measures were necessary to prevent similar incidents with new members and declared that she would not remain silent or allow the behavior to continue.
Custodio also questioned how Saldaña obtained the camera images presented as evidence, stating that recording was unnecessary and exposed the individual since no one was allowed in the area where cameras were installed.
