Bioiatriki has launched a range of preventive health checkup packages for students across Greece to coincide with the start of the new academic year.
The diagnostic healthcare group announced that the specialized screening packages are available until the end of October for pupils in all grade levels, covering children from primary school through high school.
The offered packages begin with a basic School Check Up, which consists of foundational blood tests designed for an initial preventive health evaluation. For a more comprehensive assessment, Bioiatriki provides an Enhanced School Check Up that combines the basic blood screenings with additional laboratory tests to deliver a complete overview of a student's health status.
Specialist cardiology and imaging services
In addition to blood testing, the healthcare group has created targeted diagnostic packages for specific organ systems. A dedicated Cardiology Check Up includes an electrocardiogram to record heart activity, a color Doppler cardiac ultrasound, known as a Triplex examination, and a clinical consultation with a cardiologist. Selected diagnostic units within the network are also authorized to issue medical certificates required for sports participation.
For internal organ evaluations, an Ultrasound Check package provides medical imaging of both the upper and lower abdomen alongside an ultrasound scan of the thyroid gland.
Hearing vision and physical certificates
Bioiatriki is also offering specialized sensory screenings aimed at detecting early health issues. The Audiological Check includes otoscopy to examine the ear canal, an audiogram to measure hearing thresholds, a tympanogram to evaluate middle ear function, and an acoustic reflex test, followed by a clinical evaluation by a specialist physician. An Ophthalmological Check provides a full assessment of vision and general eye health for children and adolescents.
For students engaging in aquatic activities, a dermatological package offers a clinical examination by a specialist dermatologist to issue required health clearance certificates for swimming pool use.
Diagnostic network and appointment access
Bioiatriki stated that all examinations are carried out using state-of-the-art automated laboratory equipment and experienced medical staff. The group operates diagnostic facilities in major Greek urban centers, including the capital city of Athens, the northern port city of Thessaloniki, and Chalkida on the island of Euboea. Bioiatriki said the screening initiative reinforces its commitment to preventive healthcare by ensuring easy access to high-quality diagnostic services. Parents can book appointments and find further details through the group's official website.
