Greek musician Bob Katsionis has revealed that he is a fan of composer Giorgos Theofanous, the ex-husband of his wife, singer Evridiki.
Speaking alongside Evridiki on the television program Studio 4 on Wednesday, September 9, Katsionis explained that he considers himself one of the rare individuals who admires their partner's former spouse and credited Theofanous's music with teaching him a great deal.

The couple appeared together on the broadcast to discuss their personal and professional history, describing how their relationship originally began after Katsionis reached out to the singer online.
Initial meeting and fandom
Katsionis recalled that he had followed Evridiki's career since his adolescence, noting that as he grew up, she appeared to get younger as time went on. After observing that she was making new starts in her life, he sent her a message explaining that he had written a song for her, driven by a long-held ambition to meet his favorite female singer.
Upon receiving the message, the two arranged to meet in person. Katsionis remembered opening the door during their first encounter and bowing down to her as she arrived.
Evridiki described the initial meeting as particularly special, remarking that his gesture of opening the door and bowing immediately demonstrated his sense of humor. She admitted that she initially checked his online profile to see what music he listened to and played, but was convinced of his sincerity when he later showed her his collection of her music CDs and preserved concert tickets.
Admiration for Giorgos Theofanous
During the interview, Katsionis emphasized his admiration for Evridiki's musical catalog as well as the work of Theofanous, to whom the singer was married between 1994 and 2000. Describing Theofanous as a tremendous musician, Katsionis highlighted how much he had learned from analyzing his compositions.
When show presenters Christos Ferentinos and Katerina Karavatou asked Katsionis if his admiration also extended to musician Dimitris Korgialas, another artist previously linked with Evridiki, Katsionis specified that he was a fan of Theofanous only.

Evridiki is a prominent Cypriot pop and rock singer who represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest, while Katsionis is a Greek heavy metal keyboardist, guitarist, and music producer. Theofanous composed many of Evridiki's most recognizable pop hits during their seven-year marriage and creative partnership in the 1990s.
