Brooklyn Beckham has publicly defended his wife Nicola Peltz after a social media user left critical comments about her appearance under an Instagram video.
The 27-year-old aspiring chef posted a video on his personal Instagram account showing himself cooking. The post attracted criticism regarding his culinary skills, alongside a comment targeting the physical appearance of his wife, who has experienced noticeable weight loss in recent months.
One follower asked Beckham if he replied to everyone who expressed concern over how sick his wife looked, before instructing him to feed her.
Beckham responded with anger to the remark, emphasizing that making negative observations about female body image is inappropriate. He told the user never to speak about his wife again, adding that she was completely beautiful and that commenting on a woman's body was shameful.
Concerns over actress's weight loss
The exchange follows public attention surrounding Peltz's physical transformation for her acting career. In July, the actress posted behind-the-scenes photographs from the set of her upcoming film Prima, in which she stars.
The pictures featured Peltz wearing a bodysuit while posing alongside Beckham and members of her production team. Followers quickly raised concerns about her health in the comment section, pointing to her visible weight loss.
