Rapid transfer negotiations

Ndiaye revealed that his transfer to the Greek club came together within a matter of days. Initially, the forward was focused on beginning the current season with Samsunspor, having recently watched his former team play a home fixture against Belgian club Anderlecht.

Two days after that match, Ndiaye was contacted by his agent, who informed him of interest from PAOK. Within another two days, the striker held direct discussions with PAOK head coach and the sports director, which heightened his excitement about the move.

The transaction was finalised the following day. Ndiaye remarked that the entire negotiation process moved very quickly and without complication.

Player qualities and fan expectations

Outlining what he aims to contribute on the pitch, Ndiaye described himself as an attacker who enjoys scoring goals, battling for his team, and displaying complete dedication. He stressed that he prioritises collective success over personal achievements, while describing himself as shy in his personal life off the field.

Addressing the PAOK fanbase, Ndiaye described the supporters as passionate and incredible, adding that he was eager to step onto the pitch at the Toumba Stadium to perform in front of them. He also noted that Greece is widely known for its beautiful cities.

Ndiaye shared that when he informed his family about the proposal from PAOK, they immediately advised him to accept the offer without hesitation. In a direct message to his new club and supporters, he reiterated his commitment to fighting for the jersey throughout his spell in Thessaloniki.
