Computer maker Chuwi provided inaccurate display specifications for its new UniBook laptop, according to a review by testing website NotebookCheck. The discrepancy is less critical than a previous case involving processor substitution by the company.
Chuwi advertises the UniBook, which runs on the Intel Wildcat Lake platform, as having an IPS screen with 100 percent sRGB color gamut coverage. Testing by NotebookCheck showed the matrix delivers only about 60 percent. NotebookCheck noted that while this is not a major issue for a budget laptop, the claim is still untrue.
