Dinamo Moscow forward El-Mehdi Mauhub has joined Dubai United on loan with an option to buy, the UAE club announced on Instagram.
The deal runs through the end of the 2026/27 season. The Moroccan has already arrived in Dubai and passed his medical, with the loan including a buyout clause.
New coach and ownership
At his new club, Mauhub will play under Italian coach Andrea Pirlo. Dubai United's partner-owner is Russian billionaire Sergei Lomakin, who also owns Rodina and Cyprus's Pafos.

Dubai United welcomed Mauhub in a statement, saying his arrival gives the team another player ready to fight for high results.
Time at Dinamo
Mauhub had played for Dinamo Moscow since 2024. The 23-year-old forward made 46 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists.
He did not feature on the pitch this Russian Premier League season, after Dinamo put him up for transfer over a breach of discipline.
