The Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Industry, Commerce and SMEs announced Friday that prices for major consumer fuels will remain unchanged for the week of August 1 to 7, 2026.
Premium gasoline will stay at 338.10 pesos per gallon and regular gasoline at 302.50 pesos per gallon. Regular diesel holds at 254.80 pesos, optimal diesel at 290.10 pesos, liquefied petroleum gas at 135.20 pesos, and natural gas at 43.97 pesos per gallon.
Some fuels rise
Not all prices are frozen. Aviation fuel will increase by 8.41 pesos to 292.27 pesos per gallon, and kerosene will rise 8.60 pesos to 331.00 pesos per gallon. Fuel oil No. 6 climbs 0.06 pesos to 169.60 pesos, while 1% fuel oil rises 3.34 pesos to 199.77 pesos per gallon.
The government will allocate a subsidy of 1.369 billion pesos this week, bringing total fuel subsidies for the year so far to nearly 25 billion pesos.
