US President Donald Trump stated that European allies have weak armies, according to a report by RIA Novosti.
Trump said European countries relied on the United States for too long. He added that he informed NATO they cannot continue doing so.
The White House head also stated that the previous US administration under Joe Biden gave away $350 billion in weapons. Trump said his team inherited a terrible mess, claiming Sleepy Joe endangered the American military by giving away so much equipment for nothing.
Views on European issues
Trump previously named immigration and energy as the two main issues killing Europe. He noted that illegal immigration is a huge problem for the continent and called for an immediate end to it.
