Greece's unified social security fund, e-EFKA, and the Public Employment Service, DYPA, will pay out a combined 38,020,000 euros to 69,800 beneficiaries between September 7 and September 11, 2026, under scheduled disbursements announced by the two agencies.
The payments cover pension lump sums, unemployment benefits, maternity leave subsidies and employment programme allowances, according to the payment calendar the agencies released on September 4, 2026.
e-EFKA lump-sum payments
e-EFKA will pay 15,000,000 euros to 800 beneficiaries during the five-day window, following the issuance of lump-sum payment decisions.
e-EFKA is Greece's main social security organisation, formed from the merger of the country's principal pension and insurance funds. It is responsible for processing pensions and one-off lump-sum settlements for retirees and insured workers.
DYPA unemployment and benefit payments
DYPA will distribute 22,000,000 euros to 37,000 beneficiaries for unemployment benefits and other allowances.
A further 1,000,000 euros will go to 13,000 mothers receiving subsidized maternity leave, while 20,000 euros will be paid to 19,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programmes.
DYPA, formerly known as OAED, is Greece's public employment service. It pays unemployment benefits, supports job placement and runs subsidized employment and training schemes for jobseekers.
