Argentine full-back Francisco Ortega has agreed terms with River Plate to continue his career in his homeland, ending his three-year spell at Olympiacos.
The Argentine club officially announced Ortega as a new player on August 6, 2026, confirming a deal that runs through 2030.

Ortega said goodbye to Olympiacos staff, teammates, and supporters through a social media post, emphasizing that he will remain a fan of the Piraeus club from the other side of the world.
