Frankfurt Galaxy suffered an expected 9-47 home defeat against Copenhagen top team Nordic Storm on Sunday in front of 5,925 fans at Bornheimer Hang. The host team had suspected they would stand no chance against their opponents, and the match proved them right.
Following recent weak performances and a change at quarterback, Frankfurt hoped a strong display would turn around the team mood. However, that improvement failed to materialize with new quarterback Zach Calzada leading the key position. The Hessians delivered a disappointing offensive performance, while their defense collapsed toward the end of the game.

Match scoring and playoff qualification
Galaxy managed a field goal shortly before halftime, and Tyler Foster scored a touchdown in the final quarter. Aside from those points, the home offense missed several other scoring opportunities throughout the contest.
Frankfurt Galaxy travel to play the Prague Lions next Sunday at 1 p.m., where entry into the playoffs will be on the line.
