French broadcaster TF1info compared the three most popular navigation apps, Google, Apple and Waze, to find out which one gets drivers to their destination fastest.

For a real-world test, the team picked a single destination: the train station in Meaux. The goal was simple, to see which app could get there quickest.
How the three apps compared
Google Maps estimated the journey would take 1 hour and 2 minutes. Apple's team calculated 59 minutes for the same route. Waze came out on top with an estimate of 58 minutes.
The comparison was produced by TF1info's video editorial team and aired as part of the network's weekend 1pm news bulletin, JT 13h WE, on August 9, 2026.
